· MAX FOR LIVE DEVICE
REKALL
Tape Recorder
Automatically record every Ableton Live session. Nothing to arm, nothing to remember: each recording is filed next to the Live set it came from.
· HOW IT WORKS
Recording without pressing record
- Step 01
Drop it on the master track
Put the Tape Recorder on your main/master track once.
- Step 02
Play
It captures exactly what you hear straight off the master bus.
- Step 03
Find it in REKALL
Every capture lands next to the Live set it came from, making it easy to listen to what you've created and keep a sane versioning system.
Two recordings per session
- TAPE30
- The last 30 seconds
- TAPE
- Your whole arrangement
Both are taken off the master bus, so what you get is the full mix you heard.
Silence trimmed, music left alone
Rebuilt in REKALL 1.1. It no longer cuts small holes into quiet, sustained passages; short pauses keep their natural timing, and long silences are trimmed down to a brief gap, so a tape is something you can actually listen back to without having to scroll.
